An integrated protection mechanism stops the motor or reduces speed if the ePropulsion X40 encounters resistance under water.

The ePropulsion G-Series batteries are ideal for all ePropulsion X-outboard and I-inboard motors. Third-party batteries should not be used.

Optimized propeller efficiency thanks to intensive development and research in the field of fluid dynamics.

The ePropulsion X40 is equipped with a closed liquid cooling system. No water absorption is required in the process and the cooling works excellently even under harsh conditions.

Very high drive efficiency of 88.2% (without the propeller).

Extremely modern and sporty design with blue color accents.

The engine is almost maintenance-free. Only the anodes and lubrication points need to be checked annually.

Range of the ePropulsion X40 outboard
Travel time and range depend on the battery. In an example with a 6 m aluminum boat (total weight 1,000 kg) and a 40 kWh battery, we have the following measurements:
- At 40 kW (full load), the ePropulsion X40 runs for one hour at a speed of 35.9 km/h (22.3 mph) and achieves a range of 35.9 km.
- At 20 kW (1/2 power), the fun lasts for a 2-hour trip on the water at a cruising speed of 15.4 km/h and a range of 30.8 km.
- At 10 kW power, the battery lasts for 4 hours of driving at 12.6 km/h. In total, up to 50.4 km are possible with one battery charge. Those who plan longer and more leisurely tours on the water can go much further with less power.
Information about the battery of the ePropulsion X40
The G102-100 battery is fully compatible with your 96V ePropulsion X40 outboard motor. The batteries are safe and reliable, and more efficient due to the higher voltage. The LiFePO4 batteries have a high energy density and extremely long lifespan.
The integrated ePropulsion Connectivity Service keeps you updated on the status of your boat in real time and provides advanced monitoring, reporting, and trip tracking features.
The manufacturer ePropulsion
ePropulsion is an innovative manufacturer of electric drives with the aim of further advancing e-mobility in water sports. The idea was conceived in 2012 by four young engineers in Hong Kong.
With the goal of making environmentally friendly, clean and quiet motors competitive, they have since designed numerous models. These include the Spirit 1.0 PLUS, Navy 6.0 EVO or the I-Series inboard and X-Series outboard. The models are characterized by a great price-performance ratio - of course also thanks to production in the Far East.
